Dear Rectors and Vicars,
In August 2007, Bishop Howard established the “Diocesan Communications Commission” chaired by Jack Tull and made up of representatives from each region in the Diocese of Florida as well as members of the diocese who are multimedia experts. In order to enhance the work of all ministry in our diocese, the Bishop gave this Commission a charge …“to seek feedback on the effectiveness of all established communications pathways and take action to improve communications based on that feedback.”
To that end, enclosed you will find a “Parish Communications Questionnaire.” We ask you as the Rector or Vicar to complete the questionnaire as well as others in your congregation who deal with communications within your congregation. Please return the completed questionnaire to the diocesan office no later than January 25, 2008. If preferred, the questionnaire may also be completed on the diocesan website at (http://diocesefl.org). There will be a box on the homepage labeled “Communications Questionnaire” where you can get additional hardcopies of the questionnaire and/or fill out and submit online. Please feel free to offer additional comments related to communications within our diocese.
