Assistant Youth Director - Part-time

Description: The Assistant Youth Director supports the mission of St. Francis in-the-Field, which is to draw and nurture people into a transforming relationship with Christ and His Church, by assisting with the Youth Director in managing and directing St. Francis in-the-Field’s youth ministry. This will be accomplished by demonstrating Christian attitudes toward worship, prayer and service; by helping to create a culture where youth experience fellowship and develop spirituality; and by helping to build trusting relationships and a sense that the church is home.

Director of Development & Membership

St. Mark's Episcopal Church


Description: Lay position – part time, 30 hours per week. St. Mark’s Church is currently searching for a person to assist the Foundation and the Church in all matters pertaining to development, including planned giving, memorial giving and stewardship. The position will also serve as the primary steward of the ACS membership data base including accurate and timely membership data input and data base management. Qualifications include: bachelor’s degree from a four year university or college required, fundraising or development experience, highly proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe, ability to communicate effectively and professionally, orally and in writing and ability to maintain confidentiality with all donor giving and church pledging information. Youth Director - Grades 6 - 12

Description: The Youth Director reports directly to the Associate Rector for Youth and Families and will work collaboratively on a daily basis with the Director of Young Adult Ministries and a team of clergy, lay leaders, and staff. This person will develop, coordinate and implement an effective and comprehensive ministry for youth in grades 6 – 12 and their families, consistent with the Christ Church mission statement. This position provides a unique opportunity for growth and exposure that are not often available and can be a platform for creating and implementing an impact ministry. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of experience youth ministry, children’s and family ministry, and/or Christian education and formation. The Youth Director should exhibit high integrity, sound judgement, ability to handle challenging situations, with quick decision making skills, grace under pressure and a good sense of humor. The primary duties include fostering faith formation among our youth for their development as Christians and to understand the good news of the Gospel in their daily lives. Development of personal relationships and creating an environment of welcome, fun, and inclusiveness while serving as a positive role model and providing spiritual counseling are key.

Part-time Organist and Music Director

Grace Episcopal Church

Orange Park

Description: Grace Episcopal Church is a growing parish in Orange Park, FL. Sundays include 2 services with traditional music, though variety is welcomed. The Part-time Organist and Music Director will provide year round organ/piano music and accompaniment for worship and special services at Grace Episcopal Church. He/she will lead congregational singing; accompany vocalists, groups, instrumentalists, as needed; and support the worship service with appropriate musical offerings. The Part-time Organist works in partnership with the Rector to provide meaningful worship experiences each Sunday as well as church holidays including Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, Holy Week and occasional special services. He/she will have experience in a variety of musical styles ranging from traditional to contemporary. Salary is commensurate with experience and is based on AGO guidelines. The Part-time Organist will: Play for regularly scheduled Sunday worship services; arrange for a substitute when absent; work collegially with the rector; coordinate and accompany rehearsals with vocalists and guest musicians; accompany choir, musicians, and special groups as needed; choose music, work with the volunteer choir, administer the music budget and keep the music library; Play for weddings and funerals as available; support the vision, mission and core values of the congregation; participate in a yearly performance review as scheduled by the pastor and church council.

Music Director

St. Luke's Episcopal Church


Description: Seeking an experienced part-time keyboardist/organist. Works with rector, choirs/worship teams, and cantor to plan, prepare, and perform 2 exciting, upbeat masses every Sunday and 1 Evening Prayer service on Wednesdays. Instruments: Yamaha Tyros Workstation (leading contemporary music), Allen Protige 2 manual digital organ with MIDI capabilities, and upright piano. Service Times: Sunday - 10:00 a.m. Holy Eucharist (English); Santa Misa en Espanol- Domingos 12:00 am (Holy Eucharist in Spanish-Sundays 12:00 am); Noche Familiar - Miercoles 6:45 PM (Family Night- Wednesdays 6:45 PM) Approx. 8-10 hours a week including planning, rehearsing, and performing duties.
