Description: St. Thomas Episcopal Church located on the North East coast of Florida is looking for a dynamic Rector to lead our diverse and loving congregation. Our ideal candidate will be an ordained Episcopal Priest with several years experience in a similar sized parish and who posses a Mdiv degree from an Episcopal Seminary. Title Extended Care Teacher with classroom intern opportunity

We are seeking an assistant teacher in our afterschool care program that has a heart for Christian service and has experience in childcare for children ages PK3 - 6th grade. The assistant teacher will supervise a specific grade level study hall and structured afternoon activities. SJEDS is also offering Education Majors (or other related fields) practicum and intern opportunities in the classroom in combination with the paid position of the Extended Day Assistant Teacher.

Description: Duties and Responsibilities: · Overall management and operation of the Soar (elementary school) and Launch (middle school) After School programs including but not limited to: planning curriculum, organizing students and volunteers, and assessing students and volunteers. · Oversee the continued education enrichment of students including review of assessments and school progress reports. · Maintain a strategy for reaching, recruiting and assimilating new students into the program. · Recruit, train and schedule volunteers at FSU, FAMU, and TCC. Daily supervision and directing of program volunteers. · Create environments, activities and programming for each age group that will facilitate learning and encourage spiritual growth. Daily evaluation of program site. · Continue to refine long and short term goals and strategies. · Prepare and develop weekly, monthly and yearly program calendars and reports. · Design, plan, and implement the one week Summer Reading Academy, as well as special events (Christmas program and field trips) and summer camp. · Work in close relationship with the Senior Pastor and support staff, including weekly update meetings and conferences. · Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
