I am delighted that you have chosen the Episcopal University Center to be a part of your college experience.

Perhaps you have been raised in the Episcopal Church—what we call a "cradle Episcopalian." Or maybe you are visiting with us to find out what the Episcopal Church and the Anglican Communion are all about.

No matter who you are or what religious tradition you may come from, I have no doubt that you will be richly blessed by the many activities and by the fellowship you will find at the EUC. My fervent prayer is that you may find God and be found by God during your time at college. God willing, the Episcopal University Center may be a part of that spiritual journey.

I am excited about the opportunities available to you in this upcoming year and about the start of your new chaplain's ministry. It was with great joy that I chose Fr. Mike Sowards to lead this vital ministry. I have every confidence in his abilities to fulfill the tasks and duties of this ministry. I am confident, too, that you will find Mike to be a good friend, an excellent listener, and the sort of person with whom you would want to share your spiritual life—the joys and challenges of your College experience.

Here's hoping that the school year ahead will be a productive and fun time in your life. And here's hoping, too, that the Episcopal University Center will quickly become an important part of that experience.
