Greeting in the name of Christ!

What a wonderful time we had last year at the "Blessing of the Backpacks!" We are really looking forward to kicking off the 2008 – 2009 academic year in like fashion. If you are new to the Episcopal University Center (EUC) we look forward to meeting you. If you are returning we are SO much looking forward to seeing your smiling face again. Last year saw tremendous growth in the number of students who come and worship and commune with us at the EUC. We culminated our year with a highly successful mission trip to Juarez, Mexico where we met a group of dedicated Christians from the Wesley Center at the University of South Alabama. Together with our Brothers and Sisters from USA we were able to help construct two concrete block homes for two needy families living in Juarez. Many thanks to all of the people who help support us in our endeavor. We hope to have a power-point presentation of our trip to show everyone on the 26^th when we all get back together.

If you are attending Florida State University, Florida A & M University or Tallahassee Community College, the EUC is the place for you. Here at the EUC, a student can relax, get a good meal, develop life-long friendships and participate in a Christian community. Our doors are open to all students and we strive hard to live up to our motto of being: A place to gather for worship, fellowship, food and fun! You'll find that we are a community of Christians seeking to develop authentic and enduring relationships with one another and with Jesus Christ. We desire to be a Christian community grounded in the life and teaching of Jesus Christ and committed to the health and well-being of each other. The EUC offers students the opportunity to search the scriptures, share in heart-felt worship, develop honest and long-lasting friendships, and partake in daily prayer for ourselves and for others. We desire to be a true and thoughtful Christian community that can influence the entire University, one life at a time.

If you are looking for a church home, please come and give us a look. I am sure you will find something around these old beautiful walls that will excite you and feed your spiritual hunger. We look forward to meeting you and to sharing our lives together in Christ with you.
