Description: Christ Church currently has five full-time priests, two vocational deacons, program staff, administrative staff, and hundreds of devoted lay ministers serving more than 100 different ministries. Our operating budget, excluding the Pre-School and Foundation, is $4.65 million. Position Profile The Associate Rector reports directly to the Vice-Rector and will work collaboratively with a team of clergy, lay leaders, and staff. This position, through shared leadership with the Rector and Vice Rector, provides a unique opportunity for growth and exposure that are not often available and can be a platform for creating and implementing an impact ministry. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in ordained ministry and be an influential and charismatic person, but also an individual of great humility with a servant attitude, working comfortably in a collaborative system, across a multi-campus system. The Associate Rector will have an active role in preaching, sacramental and pastoral leadership. Ministry areas of direct responsibility are flexible and will be reviewed and assigned based on the selected individuals’ strengths, the needs of the organization, and the areas of desired interest for each member of the Clergy team. Christ Church has embarked on an exciting time of transformation and it will be extremely important that our next Associate Rector be a committed team member who is excited to learn and thrive in a fast-paced environment, work collaboratively not only with the Clergy team, but also with our lay staff and dynamic lay leadership groups.

Description: This Associate will share in all the privileges of ordained ministry including preaching, teaching, pastoral care, and administration. He/she will assist the Rector in coordinating all Christian formation opportunities for adult parishioners, and will also oversee the ministry of the Director of Children’s Ministry and Director of Youth Ministry. This Associate will grow the ministries for all families at St. Mark’s with the goal of reaching a broad and substantial number of parishioners with children and/or youth and their friends. In addition to coordinating adult discipleship, the successful candidate will help develop and support a “pipeline of discipleship” for our younger members by working with other staff and lay leaders to create a coordinated program designed to inspire and nurture Christian faith and service.

Worthip Team Leader (PT)

Description: Christ Episcopal Church in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL seeks an energetic, well-organized, team-player to join us as the new leader of its worship team for two contemporary worship congregations on its main campus. Ideal applicants will have three or more years of experience leading worship in a congregational setting, preferably a congregation with strong liturgical roots. The Worship Team Leader will develop worship ministries and musical leadership under the direction of the Senior Associate Rector. This part-time position will include musical leadership on Sunday mornings, pastoral services (burials, weddings, etc.), and occasional non-Sunday worship events in the evening. The team leader will work alongside a team of dedicated volunteers, a production team consisting of several staff members, a band of dedicated and exceptionally talented musicians, and a program and administrative staff of more than 35 employees. The Worship Team Leader will be a thoughtful, Christ-centered, exceptional leader, with significant musical talent. This leader should have a working knowledge of Planning Center Online and ProPresenter and the ability to train a team, manage a budget, and guide a community toward authentic worship. Communications Coordinator - Part Time

Description: The ministry of the Communications Coordinator is to develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for communication to members of the parish and, as appropriate, the surrounding community, in such a way that is consistently thorough, efficient, effective, clear, timely and always visually pleasing. The Communications Coordinator (CC) is a part-time position that is driven more by quality of work than by number of hours. On average, the incumbent is expected to work approximately 12 hours per week. This position reports to the Executive Assistant to the Rector, and may be staff, 1099, or contract. The CC is the primary individual responsible for the consistent branding of the parish and its constituent ministries across all print and digital media platforms. The Communications Coordinator works very closely with other staff members and members of the parish to ensure that all communication regarding parish programs and events meets established communication criteria within a timely manner and generates enthusiastic interest.
