Campus Ministries & Partnerships By Episcopal Dioscese of Florida on August 18, 2025 Posted in: News As college students return to campuses for the Fall 2025 semester, our campus ministries and partners are preparing activities and gatherings for students to grow in their faith and connect in fellowship. The Diocese has college centers, and supports campus ministries, at Florida State University, University of Florida, University of North Florida and Florida A&M University. Read below to learn more about the opportunities offered to college students on these campuses and how you can support the ministries. Ruge Hall / Chapel of the Resurrection at FSU Jacob Shelly, lay campus minister at Ruge Hall / Chapel of the Resurrection at FSU, has planned some wonderful activities for students to get involved in throughout the semester. Open House at Ruge Hall – August 21 from 4-7 p.m., all are welcome to join to see the new developments at Ruge Hall. The new coffee shop will be serving drinks from Nate Russell, and appetizers will be available. Sunday Evening Eucharist Service – five times this fall at 5 p.m., followed by a meal at the chapel. They are looking for priests to sign up to give the Eucharist with the option of the priest’s congregation to provide a meal. Priest Sign Up for Eucharist Services Thursday Night Dinners – weekly dinners on Thursdays at 6 p.m. They are looking for congregations to sponsor or prepare meals. This is a great opportunity to connect the college community with your churches and to converse with the students. Congregation Sign Up for Thursday Night Dinners Free Lunches – three times this fall, open to students, faculty, staff, clergy and anyone else who would like to join for food and fellowship. Each month will feature a different theme. The dates and themes are listed below. Fall Schedule: August 21: Open House at Ruge – 4-7 p.m. September 7: Eucharistic Service and Dinner @ 5 p.m. September 8: Free Lunch @ 12:30 p.m. (Theme: Taco Bar) October 5: Eucharistic Service and Dinner @ 5 p.m. October 6: Free Lunch @ 12:30 p.m. (Theme: Taste of Italy) November 2: Eucharistic Service and Dinner @ 5 p.m. November 3: Free Lunch @ 12:30 p.m. (Theme: Thanksgiving Feast) November 23: Eucharistic Service and Dinner @ 5 p.m. December 1: Free Lunch @ 12:30 p.m. (Theme: Christmas Dinner) December 7: Eucharistic Service and Dinner @ 5 p.m. Chapel of the Incarnation at UF Jaxon Crews, Directory of Ministry at Chapel of the Incarnation, is ready for a fantastic fall semester! Welcome Week – Chapel of the Incarnation has a full slate of activities for the first week of school. Tuesday, August 19 at 7 p.m.: Art Night Wednesday, August 20 at 6 p.m.: Dinner and Discussion Thursday, August 21 at 9:30 a.m.: Breakfast Club Thursday, August 21 at 7 p.m.: Movie Night Friday, August 22 at 11 p.m: Pancakes at Midnight Weekly Meetings throughout the Semester Holy Eucharist – every Sunday at 5 p.m. Dinner and Discussion – every Wednesday at 6 p.m.,this year’s theme is “Tell me the Story of Jesus” Breakfast Club – every Thursday at 9:30 a.m., students meet in the Chapel Courtyard to read “The Screwtape Letters” by C.S.
