September 20-October 3: Petition Process Open
Week of October 3: Registration Opens (Postponed from This Week Due to Hurricane Ian)
Early November: Final Slate of Candidates Announced
November 19: Special Electing Convention at Camp Weed

 

Current Candidates

Petition Process

The petition process is now closed. Candidates who have filed for nomination by petition will be vetted and qualified by the original Nominating Committee. The Standing Committee will take the recommendations of the Nominating Committee under advisement, and has final authority regarding the slate of candidates that will be brought before the Special Convention on Nov. 19. The goal is to announce the final slate no later than Nov. 2.

The Standing Committee has received many questions, and welcomes more, on the Special Electing Convention. Its continued goal is transparency at every step of this process, ensuring all understand how and why decisions are made.
