The Rev. Mark Anderson Appointed as New Regional Canon of First Coast West By Episcopal Dioscese of Florida on January 8, 2025 Posted in: News Dear Diocese of Florida, We are excited to announce that The Rev. Mark Anderson has been appointed the new Regional Canon for the First Coast West region in our Diocese. Fr. Mark currently serves as a Subdean at St. John’s Cathedral, Jacksonville. Prior to being called to St. John’s Cathedral, Fr. Mark was the Rector of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Dallas. He also previously served as a Curate at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Jacksonville and then as the Interim Rector of Trinity Episcopal Church in Wrentham, Massachusetts. Fr. Mark studied English and Economics at Georgetown and the University of Florida, earned a Master of Divinity from Yale Divinity School, and received a certificate in Nonprofit Management from Harvard University. Fr. Mark is grateful to be raising his son, Philip, in the same church he attended during his youth. Join us in congratulating Fr. Mark on his new appointment!
