The Reverend Christopher Dell Appointed as Co-Chair of Commission on Ministry

We are pleased to announce that The Reverend Christopher Dell has been appointed as the new Co-Chair of Commission on Ministry (COM), succeeding The Reverend Sara Rich.

The Reverend Christopher Dell grew up in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, being nurtured and ultimately raised up for ministry by Christ Church. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies, with a minor in Spanish, at Stetson University.

Upon earning his Master of Divinity from the School of Theology at Sewanee, he was called as Associate Chaplain at Episcopal School of Jacksonville, where he enjoys teaching and walking through life with students while also supporting diocesan youth ministry programs and serving as the Spiritual Director for the Happening movement in the Diocese of Florida.

When he’s not visiting other congregations around the Diocese as a supply priest and guest preacher, Father Chris worships at Good Shepherd, Jacksonville, with his wife (Shannon) and son (Chatham). His interests include biblical studies, liturgics, languages, cooking, visual arts, and video games.
