From the Rev. Sarah Minton: Election Day: We Have Hope! By Episcopal Dioscese of Florida on November 5, 2024 Posted in: News Whether or not you have already voted, or if you still need to vote today, I pray that you are encouraged by a spirit of hope and trust regardless of the outcome. Please pray with me, Lord, we come before your throne of grace and truth, lifting up this nation and all who serve in leadership. As the final votes are cast today, remind us that our hope does not rest in earthly leaders or political outcomes but in You alone. You are our Savior, our King, and our solid rock. We pray for wisdom and discernment, for peace and unity, and for the courage to seek your will above all else. Remind us day by day that our calling is to love others, act justly, and to walk humbly with you. Regardless of the results, may our hearts remain anchored in your love and truth. Let us be lights in this world, always pointing others to the hope we have in you. All this we pray through your Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. The Rev. Sarah Minton
