The Rt. Rev. Paul Korir of the Diocese of Kapsabet, Kenya, and his wife Selline, will be visiting Church of Our Saviour in May. In a rural diocese with very limited resources, the Lord is doing a great work in Kapsabet. Nearly 100 clergy serve nearly 500 congregations; thousands of youth are being discipled and raised up; church schools are flourishing, the Mothers’ Union (similar to our DOK) is thriving as it serves the least, last and lost in their region. The Korirs are exceptional leaders and servants of the Lord, and have much to teach us about both faith and ministry.
All clergy are invited to lunch with Bishop Paul and Selline at Church of Our Saviour on Thursday, May 14, 11:30-1:30. Lunch is provided, and a love-offering basket will be provided if you’d like to make a cash donation. Please call the parish office to RSVP – (904) 268-9457.
