The Living Church Publishes Op-Eds from the Rev. Cn. DeFoor and Rosada

JACKSONVILLE, FL  •  March 8, 2023

In the wake of recent coverage surrounding the disputed election in the Diocese of Florida, the Rev. Cn. Allison DeFoor and Miguel Rosada published op-eds in The Living Church to offer their perspectives. Rosada shared his confidence in the election, and DeFoor provided insight into how Bishop Howard was once a target of conservatives in part due to his willingness to permit a range of theological opinion among clergy.

“My theology holds no objection to same-sex marriage,” said DeFoor in his op-ed. “…I benefitted from Bishop Howard’s lack of interest in excluding theological voices more moderate than his own.”
